About Me

Alex is a well known face and voice on the Island thanks to his creative exploits in the fields of writing, directing, presenting and acting on stage, screen and radio.

He is also an accomplished musician; along with being a Grade 8 standard pianist he has also held the position of Principal Trombonist with the Ramsey Town Band for over a decade and regularly competes with them in the North West Regional Championships and the National Championship in the U.K.

He started on radio back in the days of KIKfm as the Sunday Breakfast boy and following numerous different “stints” on Manx Radio including the Shindig and Vibe he presented the flagship Breakfast Show from 2004 to 2009 and has now moved to the Alex in the Afternoon show each weekday from 2pm until 5:30pm, alongside his Saturday morning programme, the Radio Cafe between 10:30am and 12:30pm.
