The 45,000 sq ft complex has been awarded the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method or BREEAM rating of excellent.

The company officially opened its new office on Circular Road at the end of July.

Key features include smart lighting which automatically dims to reduce consumption, air quality and temperature monitoring and centralised recycling facilities on each floor.

In addition, drinks at the cafe are served in reusable cups, while  construction materials have been re-used - such as scaffolding planks being turned into a table for the breakfast area.

Microgaming says it;s ensured the building is also employee-friendly and the entire fourth floor is a communal area, featuring a canteen and coffee shop, darts board, pool tables, table tennis tables and staff library - as well a canteen and coffee shop with an exclusive Microgaming coffee blend.
