What is the Manx government doing to fill skills gaps in the IT sector?

Senior consultant for Boston Link, Cosmo Currey, headhunts for talent and expertise across the globe - and instead of rifling through piles of CVs, he seeks out the right match for the right job.

Although finding people to work in IT is increasingly difficult - the situation is being addressed by government here. 

The Department of Economic Development introduced a relaxation of work permits in the industry, and offers a relocation package to new faces - brought about in collaboration with the Manx ICT Association. 

There's also been a drive in the the Department of Education and Children to offer courses for Manx residents.
