Unemployment rose slightly over the last month with 627 people out of work at the end of January.
The Island’s unemployment rate now stands at 1.5 per cent of those eligible to work.
Statistics from the treasury show 56 more people joined the unemployment register over the month.
The figure is slightly up on this time last year, when only 586 people were looking for a job.
