1930s blues hits the big wheel tonight

Joins The Regulars and The Big Wheel Blues Band

A Manx blues band is rolling into Laxey tonight at The Big Wheel Blues Festival.

The Hot Club String Quartet is playing at The Institute - taking inspiration from the greats, like Django Reinhard and Stéphane Grappelli.

Brian Myres plays the violin, Dick Best and Marc Tyley hit the guitar and Peter Christian pulls the outfit together on the bass - with an average age of 70 years old.

Other Island musicians; The Regulars and The Big Wheel Blues Band will play too.
