Number of flights are already delayed
Ronaldsway Airport is warning passengers of disruption to flights this morning as the Airfield will be closed until 9:05am.
It's due to 'unexpected sickness' affecting operations there.
Passengers have told Manx Radio that they have been informed the sickness is within the Air Traffic Control team.
In a post on social media, a spokesperson said: "We understand the impact this may have on your travel plans and appreciate your understanding during this unforeseen situation.
"We kindly request passengers to stay informed by checking with their respective airlines additionally, updates will be available on our website airport.im
"We assure you that our team is actively working to resume normal operations. Thank you for your patience."
Currently the only flights affected are those operated by Loganair, we will bring you updates as we have them.
