Appeal for people to check bins as search for missing man continues

Extensive searches continue in Ramsey for Jamie Barrow

They're continuing to appeal for any information or sightings in relation to missing Jamie Barrow who has still has not been found.

He was last seen on Sunday.

Extensive searches for the 39-year-old are continuing today (20 September), by specialist trained officers, in the Ramsey area.

However police are reminding people that any open area searches should be left to the trained professionals at this stage.

In a statement on Facebook the Isle of Man Constabulary adds: "We simply want to be able to focus our efforts on the search for Jamie and not having to tend to anyone who may find themselves in a position requiring help after assisting with searching open areas that could expose you to danger or harm."

As the large-scale multi-agency search continues the Isle of Man Constabulary is reiterating that it is 'concerned about the welfare of Jamie only and simply wish to find him safe and well'.

Mr Barrow is not in any trouble and presents no risk to the public at this time.
