Minister responds to urgent question on rising energy costs

Around £1.5 million has been paid out through winter bonus schemes to help people on the Isle of Man with rising energy costs.

That's according to the treasury minister who revealed the figure after an urgent question in the House of Keys today (22 March).

An additional winter bonus payment of up to £100 is being paid out this month to those on income-related benefits and who meet eligibility criteria.
