Attempted burglary in Ramsey sparks appeal

'Unknown persons' entered sheds and opened car glovebox

Police are appealing for information following an attempted burglary in Ramsey.

The constabulary says it happened between midnight and 7am on Tuesday morning (22-23 April) in the area of Close Caarjys and Gladstone Avenue.

It is reported that unknown persons have entered a shed and rummaged through a car glovebox.

Police want to hear from anyone the area who may have heard a noise in the night, dogs barking for unknown reasons or simply happened to be in the area and saw anyone acting suspiciously.

Residents are being advised to keep vehicles locked, gardens closed off and outbuildings such as sheds locked and any valuable items locked down.
