Pride of local man at poignant ceremony
An Islander has spoken of his pride after his work at Noble’s Hospital was acknowledged nationally.
Ian Hughes who is the mortuary manager at Noble’s Hospital, received special recognition for supporting parents through baby loss at the annual UK Butterfly Awards.
He had also been nominated for a separate accolade by local woman Victoria Kissack, who set up the Tabitha’s Trust charity following the loss of her daughter.
Ian admits he was overwhelmed:
