The Treasury Minister says he "fundamentally disagrees" with comments made by a senior figure in the Celtic League.

Alistair Kneale has suggested that the electorate did not elect MHKs to then be fed a 'diet of stealth charges' and have work permits removed.

In an online blog he has called for the Manx public to take a stand against what he terms the government's "failure" to represent them.

Speaking on Mandate this morning (Fri) Alfred Cannan called Mr Kneale's comments "bland" and not representative of everything government had done
