Innovation for people, business and government
The Island must commit to being a hub for innovation - in all walks of life.
That's the message from the Department of Economic Development, which says it's focused on an economy which can 'adapt and survive'.
Minister Laurence Skelly cited the growth of sectors such as e-Business, which has grown to 25% of GDP and a workforce of 2,000 in the past five years.
He also said change must happen outside industry:
Majority of whistleblowing cases against DOI relate to health and safety concerns
Disruption for motorists in Kewaigue area from Monday
Man who sexually assaulted sleeping woman jailed
2025 a 'record year' for SPC
