Everton fans to clap in Jake's memory

Toffees' fans to pay tribute to late Manx teenager

Football fans are being asked to show their support for a tragic Manx teenager this afternoon (Thu).

Everton are due to take on Lyon in the Europa League at 8.05pm, on what would have been Jake Watson's 16th birthday.

The Douglas lad died suddenly from an asthma attack in September last year.

Now a supporters' group is asking those in attendance at Goodison Park stadium today to stand in applause from the fourteenth to the sixteenth minute of the game in tribute to his memory.
