97-year-old jabbed in her own home
A 97-year old woman from Douglas has received her Covid-19 vaccination in her own home.
Beatrice Quirk said she ‘didn’t feel a thing’ when she became the first person on the Island to have a jab from her own chair.
She was vaccinated by senior nurse Anna Quirk who is part of the community nursing team.
It marks the first time a housebound patient has received the inoculation.
