Foxdale man admits drug trafficking offences

43-year-old enters guilty pleas following import of cannabis and THC vapes

A Foxdale man has admitted four drug trafficking offences relating to the import of more than £300,000 worth of cannabis and THC vapes.

John Joseph Skillen of Archallagan Terrace pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply and two charges of production of drugs.

It comes after £310,000 worth of cannabis and £3,000 worth of THC vapes were seized at Douglas harbour on 17 November last year.

Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood told the court the offences are so serious they would have to be dealt with in the court of General Gaol Delivery.

The case was adjourned until 23 February - Skillen remains on bail until his next appearance.
