Freemasons re-invent Douglas home

Woodbourne House sees instant success

Manx Freemasons move into a new age with a successful business after refurbishing their Douglas home.

The formally named Masonic Hall, now Woodbourne House, is already booked out over the Christmas period for parties, business occasions and charity events.  

It dates back to the early 1900s; commissioned by House of Keys member Thomas Harrison; it's been a boarding school, a nursing home - becoming home to the Freemasons when they bought it in 1923.

Looking for a way to re-invent its use, Investico Events were brought in to transform it with a new interior, and manage the business.
