Car left the road and came to rest near Keristal beach
A helicopter was needed to take a person to hospital after a car went off the road on Marine Drive.
The coastguard, lifeboat crews and emergency services were all called to the scene shortly before 7pm yesterday.
The vehicle ended up to the south of Keristal beach, and a coastguard helicopter was needed to recover the casualty and transfer them to Noble's Hospital for further treatment.
The crews remained on the scene for around three hours.
