A new service aimed at easing the strain on bereaved families has been officially launched this afternoon.

The initiative - a partnership between the health service and Hospice Isle of Man - comes almost a year after the sudden death of 14 year-old Manx boy Jake Watson.

His mother, Leanna, has since campaigned for more guidance to be offered to relatives in the immediate aftermath of losing a loved one.

Noble's Hospital Pathology Manager Steve Doyle explains what grieving families will now have access to.
