HoK to discuss post office redundancies, e-scooters and PPU

16 questions tabled by MHKs for today's sitting

A Douglas North MHK will question what consideration the Department of Infrastructure has given to draft e-scooter regulations today (14 November).

David Ashford wants to find out whether any consultation has been undertaken or if any is planned.

It’s one of 16 questions tabled for the House of Keys which starts at 10am.

Mr Ashford will also ask questions about the need for wheelchair taxis, the private medical wing at Noble’s Hospital and business insolvencies.

His constituency colleague, John Wannenburgh, will ask how many acts of Tynwald, from the last 10 years, are not yet substantively in force and why.

The chair of Manx Utilities will face questions on the cancellation of a survey in Castletown Bay that was due to start last week.

That question's been tabled by Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse who will also quiz the chair of the post office about the number of staff who have been made redundant.

Fellow Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Tim Glover has three questions including one about when people will be able to register to provide TT homestay accommodation.
