Government has 'lost the plot' in its latest approach to dealing with a rise in Covid-19 cases on the Isle of Man. 

That's from Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper who failed in his attempt last week to get the director of public health to give evidence to Tynwald on proposed border changes. 

Those changes – alongside a number of on-Island alterations to Coronavirus regulations – were eventually approved.

The chief Minister told Tynwald that changes to regulations had been made on 'the back of clinical and public health advice' and on the 'strong representation' from a number of members of the general public and business community.

But Mr Hooper says he can't understand why some of his political colleagues didn't want more information from experts before making that decision:
