Government's spending plan for the year ahead continues to be put under the political spotlight.
Treasury announced a two percent hike to the higher rate of income tax, with the additional money generated being 'ringfenced' for the health service.
Residents subject to the extra tax will see this come into effect from April.
Douglas North MHK David Ashford is expected to ask the Council of Ministers if the rise will bring about 'tangible change'.
The latest pink book has caused some ripples, but Mr Ashford thinks the worst could be yet to come:
Speaking after the Budget was announced last month, Treasury member Andrew Smith said plan would be beneficial, and the Manx public will be 'happy to pay a little more in tax if it means they have faster access to doctors and dentists'.
The question will be put before Treasury Minister Alex Allinson in the House of Keys tomorrow.
