Increased water bursts 'not uncommon' in summer

Three separate areas affected by bursts on Friday

Increased water bursts in the summer months aren't uncommon according to Manx Utilities.

Three different areas of the Island were without supplies for a time yesterday due to bursts.

Last year, the authority recorded around 70 bursts in July, compared to just 30 in the winter months.
