Investigation launched following video of man 'locked' in bus overnight

"CCTV has been passed on and vehicles involved remain off road whilst undergoing repairs"

An investigation has been launched after a video surfaced on social media appearing to show a man claiming he'd been 'locked in' a government owned bus overnight.

In the video the man, who is filming himself, repeatedly shouts and swears telling the camera he 'can't get out' of the bus and claiming he is 'trapped'.

He goes on to claim he smashed a window to get out before climbing on a Department of Infrastructure van to jump over an '18 foot' fence surrounding the bus station.

In response government says 'internal procedures are underway' and the police are involved.

However no further details have been released while investigations continue.
