Move follows review and priority given to telephone enquiries
Isle of Man Energy has restricted its reception opening hours.
The decision follows a decrease in the number of in-person visitors making customer service enquiries.
The reception area will be open between 11.00 and 14.30, Monday to Friday.
The energy group says they take regular reviews in order to prioritise the use of its resources.
Outside of those times, a customer service desk will be available by phone between 8.30 and 17.00.
The full statement from Isle of Man Energy:
“Customer service is very important to us and we undertake regular reviews in order to prioritise the use of our resources. As you might imagine over the last few years we have seen a marked decrease in the number of in-person visitors making customer service enquiries with many more taking the opportunity to contact us by phone or email.
"We have therefore decided to prioritise those areas. We recognise however that some of our customers still value the ability to come to us in person, and are pleased to confirm that the reception area will be open Monday to Friday between 11:00am and 2.30pm. Outside of those times our customer service team are available by phone between 8:30am and 17:00pm Monday to Friday.”
