Ambitions collecting items for victims

An Island business has started a charity drive for those caught up in the tower block fire in West London.

At least 12 people are now confirmed to have died in the blaze, with that number expected to rise.

An additional two thousand have been left homeless.

Ambitions Recruitment, based in Douglas, says it's holding a collection for items that might help the individuals and families affected.

If you have any small items to donate - such as toiletries, household items and non-perishable food  - you can drop them into the company's offices on Finch Road, from where they will arrange a courier on Friday.
