Keys to discuss Crogga and Airport

Members to sit this morning

Scheduled closure times during the day at Ronaldsway Airport and the Crogga development are the subject of questions before The House of Keys this morning (27 June) before members move on to discuss assisted dying and vaping.

The system of starred questions which take precedence over non-starred still haven’t been used.

Five of the eight inquiries come from Jason Moorhouse who follows the lead of David Ashford to ask about what he terms the reduced opening hours at the Airport.

He also wants to know the plans for what he terms the 'green strip of land' between Douglas War Memorial and the Sea Terminal, the land allocated for horse tram use and also an inquiry about what happens top waste after the completion of public works. He cites Ballabeg as an example.

David Ashford follows his airport question with two questions on the Isle Learn closure.

After questions the HoK moves to three first readings including Dr Alex Allinson's Assisted Dying Bill and the clauses for the Vaping Products Bill.

The sitting gets underway at 10.00, you can listen live on Manx Radio AM1368, online and on smartphone apps.
