Emergency services respond to incident in Grenaby
Emergency services were called out to Grenaby yesterday afternoon to reports of a downed light aircraft.
The incident happened at around 4pm with the aircraft performing an emergency landing into a field of barley.
Fire crews from Douglas and Castletown were called out to provide precautionary fire cover and liaise with the Air Accidents Investigation Branch.
There are no injuries reported.
