Manx Care won't livestream public board meeting

Chief executive Teresa Cope at a previous board meeting streamed on social media

People told to attend in person instead as live option is removed

Manx Care says it won’t be livestreaming a public board meeting tomorrow (4 April).

The health body has confirmed it won’t share the session on its social media platforms as it has done on previous occasions.

This decision will apply to all future board meetings.

In a statement provided to Manx Radio it said: "Manx Care's board meetings in public have been livestreamed in the past initially to support with lockdowns but they continued after that - it was an additional service we offered on top of holding the board’s meetings in public.

"The meetings are still available for people to attend, and will be recorded, with playback details shared after the meeting."

The April board meeting will take place between 9am and 12pm at the iMuseum in Douglas.
