Concern that voters are becoming 'disenfranchised' from politics
MHKs on the Isle of Man are ‘turning the public off’.
That’s the view of Arbory, Castletown and Malew politician Tim Glover.
He says the House of Keys is spending too much time focussing on whether or not to remove the bishop’s voting power.
Mr Glover says it wasn’t an issue raised on the doorsteps when he was campaigning for election:

Garff MHK Daphne Caine believes removing the bishop’s vote could spark wider reforms within the Island’s parliament.
