The Isle of Man's record in allowing prisoners to vote may be looked at by UK authorities, after calls they should consider doing the same.
A cross-party group of MPs says in-mates serving jail terms of less than a year, and those nearing the end of their sentences, should be entitled to vote.
It follows a ruling by the European Court of Human Rights that the UK's current blanket ban on prisoner voting is unlawful.
Prsioners in the Isle of Man have the right to vote, whatever the crime or length of sentence.
The UK is one of only five of the 47 Council of Europe members to ban all convicted prisoners from voting.
