Murray remembered at Parish Walk

Huge contribution to event saluted

One of the Parish Walk's best-known figures is being remembered at this year's race.

Murray Lambden passed away suddenly in April - he was 60.

A long-time competitor, statistician, advisor, photographer and writer - not to mention the winner in 1978 - his contribution to the event was immense.

Now his smiling face has been immortalised on Parish Walk 2017 commemorative t-shirts, along with the slogan 'Remembering Murray'.

Friend and fellow competitor, Steve Partington, designed the garments.
