Not guilty plea from man accused of indecent assault

46-year-old denies committing sexual offence 15 years ago

A Jurby man will stand trial after denying indecently assaulting a teenage girl 15 years ago.

Andrew Neil Livesey, of Snaefell View, appeared at Douglas Courthouse where he entered a not guilty plea.

The 46-year-old has been accused of carrying out the sexual offence between 31 December 2008 and 1 January 2010.

Committal proceedings – where the case is elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery – will take place on 9 January; he’s been bailed until that date.
