Modified direction notice available to those who can't isolate alone
Patient transfers are exempt from certain isolation rules when returning to the Island.
Currently, anyone coming back to the Isle of Man cannot isolate in a household with other people; they must find separate accommodation.
However, those travelling for medical purposes who need assistance will be allowed to self-isolate in their home so long as everyone in the household does so as well.
Health Minister David Ashford says patients will need to be issued with a modified direction notice in these instances:
