Extinction Rebellion IoM demonstrates outside Tynwald
Protestors gathered outside Tynwald today to express their opposition to plans to search for gas in Manx waters.
It was organised by Extinction Rebellion IoM in response to government's decision to extend the time Crogga can survey for gas off Maughold.
The group says extracting natural gas to help towards reliance on renewable energy sources is 'nauseatingly hypocritical'.
Daphne Caine - the chair of the Climate Change Transformation Board - met with the group, along with other members of Tynwald, to hear their views:
