Ramsey Cottage Hospital questions in Keys again

Keys sit at 10 am

The House of Keys meets this morning (27 Jun) to discuss a host of different business, from building regulations to the proposed corporatisation of the post office.

There are ten questions for oral answer, before members must consider five separate Bills on subjects such as freedom of information and police detention.

A relatively short question paper sees continued enquiries on some familiar issues:

Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson wants to know when Health Minister Kate Beercroft met with the Friends of Ramsey Cottage Hospital to discuss moving endoscopy equipment to Noble's Hospital.

Member for Onchan Julie Edge will quiz the Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan on which departments, and boards are consumers of natural gas, and what price they pay, per unit, to Manx Gas.

Other questions relate to standardising the opening hours of Civic Amenity sites, support for business affected by regeneration, and plans to review building regulations.

After that there's five Bills to consider, three of which are having their first reading; that's the Gambling Bill, Police Detention and Bail Bill, and the Road Transport, Licensing and Registration Bill.

Keys questions are broadcast live on AM 1368 from 10am
