Remand for man accused of domestic abuse

65-year-old also denies assault ABH charge

A Douglas man who has been accused of domestic abuse has been remanded at the Isle of Man Prison whilst he awaits trial.

Wilson White, of Christian Road, entered a not guilty plea to the offence which is said to have taken place between 27 January and 9 September.

The 65-year-old also denied assaulting his wife causing actual bodily harm, at their home, on 8 September.

Committal proceedings, where the case is elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery, will take place on 14 November.

 

Update: At Douglas Courthouse on 14 November committal proceedings were completed. Mr White will next appear before the Court of General Gaol Delivery on a date to be set.
