Remand for Weston Super Mare man accused of sending explicit content

41-year-old will next appear in court in August

A man from Weston Super Mare, accused of sending indecent images of himself to a child, has been remanded at the Isle of Man Prison.

Timothy Ian Moulton, of Alfred Street, appeared at Douglas Courthouse where he was told he’ll remain in custody until 24 August.

The 41-year-old has been charged with sending offensive, indecent or menacing messages between 15 July and 19 July.

The court was told the allegation relates to a sting in which a Facebook profile was set up by someone pretending to be a 14-year-old child.

Update: At Douglas Courthouse on 5 October Moulton pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 28 weeks in custody - you can find out more HERE.
