Isle of Man police have confirmed reports of a vehicle that is currently on fire in the Loch Promenade area.
It's understood that police and fire services are attending the scene.
The road has been closed and drivers are being asked to stay away from the area until further notice.
Update: the constabulary have now re-opened the road.
