Rogue traders caught in south

Men reported hassling homeowners

Police say they've nabbed a pair of cowboy tarmac layers operating in the Island.

The men, driving a UK registered vehicle, were reported to have been knocking on doors in the south offering discount services.

Cold calling was outlawed as a business practice in the Island last year.

Officers say the men have been 'spoken to'.

Anyone who has been confronted with rogue traders is asked to contact the police and Office of Fair Trading.
