SAFFA Festival 'a way to give back to the Island'

South African culture to be celebrated at event on Saturday

Efforts to celebrate and share African culture with the Isle of Man is a way of saying ‘thank you’.

The organiser of the first SAFFA Festival says the event is an opportunity to show appreciation to the Manx community for embracing South African residents.

There will be stalls, entertainment, music and an array of traditional food - including boerewors rolls, melktert and koeksisters - at The Nunnery in Douglas on Saturday.
