Some people in 'extreme period poverty' on the Isle of Man

Foodbank highlights concerns about lack of 'financial resilience'

Concerns have been raised that some people on the Island are experiencing ‘extreme period poverty’.

It’s an issue that’s been highlighted by the Isle of Man Foodbank which says it’s also fearful that those in need could resort to stealing food.

The charity is currently helping around 310 adults and 115 children each month.
