MHK criticises Treasury's department plan for year ahead
Government's spending plan for the rest of the current administration will leave the Island's reserves at 'crisis level'.
That's the view of Douglas North MHK David Ashford after Treasury published its department plan for the year ahead.
The plan states work to develop a strategy to build reserves had initially been due as part of this year's budget, but that's been carried for to 2024.
Mr Ashford, who served as Treasury Minister until May 2022, says more needs to be done:
Person suffers 'significant injuries' in 'serious assault' near Peel
Business case for horse trams to be put before Tynwald in July
Plans to turn 'underused space' in central Douglas into wellness retreat
Employment grievance 'upheld' against board of Peel Commissioners
