Spooky makeover for Douglas home

The resident is also raising funds for a projector for a care home

Have you heard about the 10 foot spiders and talking ghosts in Douglas?

Well, people living near or passing by Campion Way in Governors Hill may well have spotted it over the weekend.

In the lead up to Hop Tu Naa, Jason Booth has decorated the outside of his home and the public is welcome to stop by, have a look and also pop in a donation to his Just Giving Page

Mr Booth - who works within dementia care at a care home in Douglas - is trying to raise £1,000 so that he can buy projection equipment for when the home hosts movie nights for patients.

"We look after (mostly) elderly people who suffer from Dementia and can have challenging behaviours'. Part of my job is enhancing the environment around the home with seasonal decorations and activities to the benefit of our residents." - Jason Booth

So far he's raised £155.

He's been talking to Chanelle Sukhoo:
