Access to Isle of Man Ferry Terminal to remain open, but delays expected

The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company has issued travel advice for passengers ahead of Liverpool Football Club’s Premier League victory parade today (26 May).

The open-top bus parade is expected to begin at 2:30pm and could last between three to five hours, with Liverpool City Council anticipating hundreds of thousands of fans lining the streets.

The Liverpool Ferry Terminal will remain accessible throughout the day, but vehicle passengers are being advised to approach from the north of the city using Scotland Road (A59), Boundary Street, Regent Road, and Jesse Hartley Way.

The same route will be used to exit the terminal.

The Strand northbound will be closed from 4am until approximately 10pm, and Leeds Street (city-bound) will be shut from midday until around 8pm.

Foot passengers will still be able to access the terminal via the usual routes, but are advised to allow extra time due to expected congestion.
