Travel likely to face disruption amid flooding and poor weather

Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a yellow warning for heavy rain, with strong winds reaching near gale force later this morning

The Steam Packet Company has confirmed this morning's Manxman to Heysham and subsequent return are cancelled amid poor weather conditions.

This afternoon's Manannan trip to Liverpool is still under review - we're expecting an update towards 12-noon.

Meanwhile, on the roads - police are advising us to allow extra time when travelling.

The Department of Infrastructure is understood to be attending the main road at Greeba which is flooded.

Quarterbridge, Balthane, The Forge and Glen Duff are also flooded.
