Former soldier accused of stabbing

A jury has been sent out to consider its verdict in the trial of a former soldier accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend.

Lee Dillon is accused of fracturing her eye socket before stabbing her three times at his home in Marown in August 2016.

The 28 year-old denies wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and an alternative charge of unlawful wounding.
