Tributes have been paid to a former Isle of Man internee who has died at the age of 100.

The Holocaust Day Memorial Trust says Henry Wuga - a Jewish refugee who came to the UK at the time of the Second World War - made an immense impact on thousands of people during his lifetime.

Having escaped Nazi persecution in Germany he went on to be interned at a number of camps including on the Isle of Man before becoming a leading educator on the Holocaust.

He is survived by two children, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
