Windfarm plans in Druidale are 'as bad as the south' says Michael Commissioners

Local Authority has concerns for residents and the environment

Michael District Commissioners says the windfarm proposals for Druidale and Sulby are 'as bad an idea' as they are for the south. 

Manx Utilities announced its plans in July which could include seven to 12 wind turbines generating over 20 gigawatts of energy.

Chair of the commissioners Catriona Livingstone has concerns about the impact they will have on the environment, including birds.
