Following yesterday afternoon's World Championship glory in the Madison race, Manx cyclist Mark Cavendish has set his sights on Olympic gold in Beijing.
Cav and Bradley Wiggins destroyed the rest of the field to take the World Track title in front of an adoring home crowd at the Manchester Velodrome.
It's the second time Cavendish has been crowned World Madison Champion having won in Los Angeles in 2005 with Rob Hayles.
The Laxey rider has made public his desire to win four titles in one year with Bradley Wiggins - at British, European, World and Olympic levels.
Having now claimed two of his targets, Manx cycling coach Peter Kennaugh Senior believes Cav is on for gold in China:-
