Southern Nomads await them in next week's final
Douglas B beat Ramsey B 26-22 at the Mooragh Park to secure their place in next week’s Shimmin Wilson Manx Trophy Final where they will meet Southern Nomads.
A Bryn Snellgrove penalty gave Douglas an early lead, but a try from Aneurin Pritchard - on his 40th birthday - plus a penalty and conversion from Andy Cleator, saw Ramsey in front 10-3 at half-time.
In the second half, Matt Billinghurst’s try put Douglas back in it at 10-8, before Callum Clague barged over at the other end to restore the Ramsey advantage.
Charlie Henthorn and Nathan Knights both then crossed for Douglas and, with Snellgrove adding two more penalties, they led 26-17 with five to play.
A late try from Andy Done got Ramsey to within four but it was too little too late.
